Best use cases

Yes. Monadic testing shows a single concept or product to each respondent, ensuring unbiased feedback. Conveo excels here because the AI maintains consistent interview quality across all participants, and you can run hundreds of monadic interviews simultaneously.

Yes. The same respondent evaluates multiple concepts in sequence. Conveo handles the rotation logic automatically, ensures proper randomisation and balancing between concepts, and captures comparative insights while keeping the depth of individual evaluations.

Yes. Respondents film their in-store experience by flipping their camera, and describe their shopping journey while the AI moderator guides the conversation. The AI picks up on the brands and objects the shopper encounters, capturing authentic purchase decision moments.

Conveo analyses sentiment and emotional signals from facial expressions, tone of voice, and speech patterns for each interview. You get aggregate emotional patterns across your sample plus the ability to surface specific moments of strong emotion for deeper analysis.

Yes. Respondents can participate in extended conversations over time, documenting experiences, routines, and product usage. AI check-ins feel natural and conversational, capturing rich contextual insights that traditional methods miss.

Yes. Usage and Attitude studies benefit from Conveo's ability to probe deeper on behaviors and motivations. You get the scale of quantitative research with the depth of qualitative.

Yes. IDIs with professionals work well as long as you bring or recruit the audience yourself, since most panel partners are consumer-focused.

Yes. You can show images, videos, and PDFs inside the interview, and the AI moderator probes reactions in context.

Agency seats

Unlimited. Your entire agency team can access Conveo without per-seat charges.

Yes. Assign admin, editor, or viewer roles. See the Conveo docs on permissions and sharing.

Yes. Create isolated workspaces for each client project. This keeps data separate and lets you invite client team members to specific workspaces without exposing other projects.

Admins and Members are for researchers and can collaborate on topic guides, launch panels, analyse studies, use talk-to-your-data, and create quote reels and slide decks. Viewers see the final topic guide, results, and outputs. Seats can be added and reassigned continuously.

You can customise the logo, colours, and intro/outro copy per study. The participant URL is conveo-hosted today. A fully custom domain is on the roadmap.

Client access

Viewers can see results, watch interviews, and access exports. Editors can create and modify studies, change settings, and manage the project.

If given editor access, yes. Many agencies prefer viewer access only, keeping control over study design while letting clients explore results.

Yes. Invite client team members to specific workspaces. They log in with their own credentials and see only the projects you have shared with them.

Pricing and billing

$5 per interview minute for the first 1,500 minutes in a study, then $2 per minute above 1,500.

Tiering resets per study, so each new study starts at the $5 rate. Use the pricing calculator for exact totals.

$5,000 in credits, paid upfront, valid for 12 months. Unused credits roll over if you renew.

No. The $5,000 upfront commitment is credits you spend on studies, not a platform fee.

Designing studies and launching doesn't require credit spend. Launching a panel and analysing studies costs credits. Panel-launch credits cover recruitment fees and respondent incentives, and only apply when you recruit through a Conveo-integrated panel. Analysis cost is tied to interview minutes analysed.

Analysis follows the per-minute pricing above ($5/min, tiered to $2 above 1,500 min in one study).

Panel and incentive costs are separate and only apply if you recruit through a Conveo-integrated panel.

All pricing and invoicing is in USD.

Up to $7,500 per purchase is charged directly through Stripe. Anything above can be billed through a custom invoice.

Net 30 by default. Other terms can be agreed during contracting. See the terms of service for full detail.

Shared across the workspace. Multiple studies and team members draw from the same balance.

Credits are valid 12 months from purchase. Unused credits roll over if you renew.

Top up anytime. Up to $7,500 per purchase goes through Stripe in the billing page. Above $7,500 can be invoiced.

Depends on use case. A typical qualitative study runs 50 participants for 30 to 60 minutes. Quantitative studies run 100 to 500 participants for around 20 minutes. The platform handles 10 to 2,000+ participants for up to 180 minutes.

The calculator defaults to zero recruitment. Built-in recruiting is optional. With API-integrated panel providers there is a recruiting fee paid to our partner panels on top of incentive fees.

Onboarding guidance on the first study, chat support, and default SLAs. Expanded support is available on request at agreed rates.

No. The platform cost is the same. Only recruitment and incentives change based on the audience.

No. The estimated duration you set when designing the study is the maximum you can be billed per interview. If a respondent finishes faster, you are billed only for the actual interview length. You are never billed for more than the estimate, even if an interview runs longer.

Each study is billed to a specific billing account, and someone with approve permissions on that billing account has to sign off before the study can be launched. Billing accounts have three access levels: Manager (full control, including managing access and subscription), Approver (can request and approve spend, view transactions), and Requester (can request spend and view transactions, but cannot approve). Organization admins automatically have Manager access on every billing account.

When a researcher is ready to launch a study or analysis, the cost is calculated up front and sent for approval to the Approvers or Managers on the relevant billing account.\n\nThe study only launches once an approver signs off. You can also optionally require a PO number for each panel launch or analysis in the billing settings.
